As Development Director, Alistair oversaw the curation and operation of more than 300 independent restaurants, cafés, shops and bars across Brixton Village’s Grade II listed market arcades. A threatened heritage asset became one of South London’s defining food and retail destinations: proof that historic market buildings can be filled with independent operators and thrive commercially without losing their character.
